Roadsides is a scholar-led, collectively managed diamond Open Access journal designated to be a forum devoted to exploring the social, cultural and political life of infrastructure.

The journal is co-funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, the Universities of Zurich and Fribourg, and the Volkswagen Foundation’s Environing Infrastructure project, and is currently based at the University of Fribourg.
